Purchased these items only to discover later that they were available for 25 dollars less. They are durable and can be stacked together to maximize storage space. The height is just right for reaching underneath my SUV.
As an elderly retired mechanic, I still handle my own oil changes and minor repairs. The old heavy metal ramps were becoming too difficult for me to manage, so I decided to give these heavy duty ramps a try. I am impressed with their reasonable price, portability, and most importantly, their effectiveness. Thank you!
I tried these ramps once on my 2008 pickup truck. Despite the ramps being rated for 16000 lbs, they cracked and bulged under the weight of my truck. This raised safety concerns and I did not feel comfortable going under my truck. I do not recommend these ramps to others as they did not hold up as expected.
The weight capacity of the ramps is advertised as 16,000 GVW. When two ramps are used, half the GVW is on each ramp, totaling 8,000 lbs. However, the product detail section of the listing states the load capacity is actually 16,000 lbs. This discrepancy in load capacity information is concerning as it could lead to serious injuries if not communicated properly.
